Most common D2676 code reviews : Pulpal Debridement, Primary or Permanent Tooth - Paid to the general dentist that will not be completing the endodontic treatment, Mesial/distal wedge procedure, single tooth (when not performed in conjunction with surgical procedures n the same sanatomical area) or Accession of tissue, gross and microscopic examination, preparation and transmission of written report.

D2676 Procedures:

Non-autogenous connective tissue graft procedure (including recipient surgical site and donor material) - each additional contiguous tooth, implant or edentulous tooth position in same graft site. Local anesthesia is usually considered a component part of periodontal procedures, but dependent upon the plan will allow up to 50% of D2676 - allow up to a maximum of 3 teeth per quadrant

D2676 Dental Code

A patient encounter with a practitioner whose opinion or advice regarding evaluation and/or management of specific problem; may be requested by another practitioner or D2676 appropriate source The consultation includes an oral evaluation he consulted practitioner may initiate diagnostic and/or therapeutic services.

Scaling and debridement in the presence of inflammation or mucositis of a single implant, including cleaning of the implant surfaces, without flap entry and closure. (When submitted with prophy, considered inclusive of prophy; no separate benefit for 6081 or when submitted alone or in multiples, allow to pay as prophy, but subject to prophy limitation.)

Re-cement or re-bond inlay, onlay, veneer or partial coverage restoration

Pin retention-per tooth, in addition to restoration is a benefit, once per tooth, when necessary on permanent tooth and when completed at the same appointment as the restoration. Additional pins on the same tooth are Disallowed as a component of the initial pin placement. The fee for pin retention when billed In Conjunction With a buildup is Disallowed as a component of the buildup procedure.
